Ongi Etorri to the Kern County Basque Club’s 45th annual Basque Festival.
Preparations are on the way and we will be needing volunteers to help us make this Festival a successful one. If you would like to volunteer, please contact one of the board members.

We have reserved rooms for out of town guests attending the picnic at The Doubletree. The Doubletree is offering a special rate of $79/night plus a 12.2% occupancy tax. The Sheraton Hotel is also offering a special of $97/night that must be booked by May 13th. Contact Jessica at 661-862-7423 and mention it is for the Basque Festival to receive the special rate. 2:30 pm- Presentation for children and adults by the visiting musicians from Nafarroa
5:00 p.m. – Pelota/Handball Game – Professional Handball Players from ASPE in Euskadi:
Barriola, Irusta, Mendizabal III and Lasa
“Nafarroako Ahotsak eta Doinuak” – visiting musicians (Iñaki Reta, Marta Peruga, José Luis Urbén, Carolina Milagro & Marcos Pérez) will perform songs from Nafarroa on Saturday and Sunday.
